WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) Tarot card deck

Whether you are brand new to Tarot, a regular user, or an expert, ‘What you see is what you get ‘(WYSIWYG) Tarot is easy, fun, and instantly useable by everyone.

It comes with a beautiful, full-colour guidebook. WYSIWYG Tarot is a fantastic divination tool for guidance, insight and prediction, which works equally well performing a reading for yourself or others.

Each deck contains 20 extra thick, gold-edged cards. Each card contains half an image of 4 different cards. These images, when matched, become your reading. There are 40 images in total.

The cards choose you!

Included: 20 extra-thick Tarot cards and Guidebook

The 3 easy steps to play are:

1 – DEAL

Deal your WYSIWYG cards into a grid of 4 x 5 or 5 x 4, left to right.

  Or

2 – MATCH

As you are dealing the cards into the grid, some images will automatically match.  Once all the cards are dealt, you then have to seek out other matching images, even if it means turning the card to meet its match!  It is ok to ROTATE the cards to meet their match, but you can’t RELOCATE the cards to make a match.  This is the fun part.  It is amazing how many matches ‘turn up!’ The more times you play, the easier it is to spot the matches.  Don’t worry if there aren’t that many matches, remember you always have the final card which has to be treated as though each image is a match (bottom right-hand card or #20 as in the grid image above).

3 – READ

Only the images that match become your reading (using the guidebook).  You don’t read any cards that don’t make any matches, except for the last card (bottom right corner of your grid, #20 position).  To obtain your reading, find the relevant page of the matched image in the guidebook, read the information under the picture, then – match the compass on your matched card with the compass in the guidebook –  you are looking for the upward-facing (North) colour, as it appears in front of you.  This becomes the next part of your reading.

For example, if the matched image is the Priestess and the red compass is facing upwards/North, (which means the actual Priestess image appears upside down), you find the ‘Priestess’ section in the guidebook, read the information on the title page, then go to the compass section, find the compass image with the ‘red’ part of the compass facing upright /North,  which would look like the third compass image below.

For the major images, the guidebook includes further snippets of information called ‘Additional Extras’.  This extra guidance is offered in the form of, numerology, astrology elemental forces, and symbology.

Remember, the final card in the grid (bottom right-hand corner) is a bonus card.  You take each of the 4 images, and follow the instructions as mentioned above – read the information on the title page of that image, then go to the compass section and read relevant upward-facing/North compass point, then the additional extras section, if applicable.

The WYSIWYG Tarot cards have a few name changes from the traditional tarot.  For example ‘Beginnings’ becomes ‘Fool’, ‘Teacher’ becomes ‘Hierophant’, ‘Transformation’ becomes ‘Death’, to name but a few.

Additionally, WYSIWYG Tarot has 4 supercharging elemental Goddess images: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.  When these images are matched, the relevant Goddess will supercharge all relevant matching element cards.  For example, if the Earth Goddess card is matched, then all other matched cards in the grid with a green upward-facing compass point will be supercharged, making their importance take precedence over all other cards.  Wait and see how that magic works.  It is amazing.

Always allow yourself to let your intuition flow.  Expect to utilise your own resource if you already work with tarot, astrology, numerology, etc.  If you are highly intuitive, one of the symbols or images may ‘speak’ to you offering a deeper insight.  Use it.  Remember, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.
